Mini-Me

We've been joking that Wilson is my mini-me. The top photo is me a few days old. We didn't have a photo with quite the same expression, but you get the idea. I love it!

Here is a video from yesterday. Wilson was one month old, he is growing and changing so fast.

Here is a series of photos of Wilson on Oct. 1. I'm testing this new slideshow. My digital photo albums tend to have A LOT of photos, not all of them perfect, but I just have such a hard time deleting them.

Grandpa and Grandma Daby

Here are a few more photos of Wilson with his Grandps and Gramma Daby. My Mom, Liz, stayed with us an extra week after my Dad went home. It really was great having her.

So sad again to see grandparents go back home. They all just love him so much! He is a real heartbreaker already.

Shana and I are back on our own. Definitely feel the difference in housework and responsibility now that our grandparents backup is gone.


Wilson had his best night ever last night. Two four hour stretches of sleep, a new record! And this after a tough night for Shana. She had warned me that night that she would feed, but being Friday night, she said I was responsible for all calming and burping necessary between feedings. I was to stay in the nursery bed as necessary with him until it was feeding time. But what do you know, he didn't wake until about 3:30 for feeding, and then 8 am. I'll take that any time. And right on his Daddy's birthday, I couldn't have asked for a better present.
