Wow, I have to say Jon has done a great job managing the blog. We're doing well. Wilson was a rascal last night, waking about every hour, which makes it tough to get deep rest, but oh well! I wish I had a button to synchronize my sleep with his. Wilson is feeding very well, one less source of stress. The milk is here with a vengeance and I'm in some pain. Thank goodness for the pump my aunt Lisa sent me to use.
I'm really eager for my mom to arrive because I'm excited for her to meet her new grandchild. She is also beside herself with anticipation. For those of you who know Kim, you understand that she is the perfect person to attend to the business of acclimating a child into the world. She has so much energy and a get it done attitude, which is a welcomed force when I feel like I'm lost at sea with only three abilities: breastfeeding, feeling the pain emanating from my bottom, and reveling in the magic of our new baby. My needs go beyond my abilities at the moment, though.
One of my friends arranged to have our friends bring over meals for us during the first several days. What a convenient luxury it is to have a freshly prepared meal, either to eat immediately or to freeze. Thank you Miranda!
